Hey everyone!! I appreciate the help and will take any I can get at this point. I am having a little trouble with my corals in my reef tank. Tank has been set up since December of 2021 with 30 year old live rock added to the tank. My issues are that my corals are just not looking at good as I feel that they should and I do not understand why. My only issue that I could see that would be causing them to not look as good is my extremely high phosphates. They have been around 1.2ppm for prob two or three months or so. Yes, I know that is super high. I have tried a few natural ways to export phosphates IE a algae scrubber and a fuge but had no luck. Since last week I started running GFO and got the phosphates down to 0.4ppm. My issues that I am having with my corals is when I add them to my tank they look big and happy but slowly overtime they just get smaller and smaller and stop extending much and start to get slow tissue necrosis and die off. I do not understand what I am doing wrong. I am brodcast feeding phyto and Red Sea AB. I recently started using Reef Rods. My fish eat Rods food at night and pellets on a auto feeder three times a day. I have added a video in my post of my corals. One of my hammers is currently dyeing and some of my gonis are not extending much. I am starting to think that I do not have enough light on them. I currently am running a reef breeders Photon 48 v2. Parr on the gonis in the video is around 130 and on the sandbed around 80 parr. Maybe not enough light?? I hope you all do not shame me too much on my tank and placement of the corals. I am a novice. Below are my parameters of my water. I do weekly 25 or 35 gallon water changes. I am using reg old Instant Ocean for my salt.

Ammonia- 0
Nitrite-0
Nitrate- 13.3ppm
Phos- 0.4
Mag-1200
Calcium-400
Salinity -1.026
temp -78.5
Dkh-7.0

Advice?

Thanks.

Numbers are not to bad but phosphate still elevated and big swings up or down bother corals. Magnesium a little low too. Stop with the roids it Jack's your phosphate level up. Have you done a recent ICP to check all parameters? What about flow and lighting?

Honestly they don't look had. Most of your corals have good polyp extension so I do to think its a system issue. Probably either a few specific spots dont have the right flow or light, and also some specimens could just be weird or weak or have peculiar individual requirements to begin with.
