If you feel bleach has crept in via the purigen then run some carbon (make sure it's not Kent's) As Ritter said, with your alk being 11-12 you are already on the high side and adding to raise your PH is continuing to add to you alk and that's why you have having a problem with your calcium. High alk might irritate the skin on your corals, do what Ritter and others have suggested, concentrate on getting alk more in the 10ish range and with the RCs you should be ok with calcium.Me personally, I'd never put something in bleach and then depend on the bleach being rinsed out. That's like putting bleach in your dishwasher and hoping the rinse cycle removes it all, but that's just my opinion
