I seem to have some issues cropping up in my tank. Its a newer tank about 3ish months old. I used Dr. Tims to start up the tank. Added 2 clowns. The tank parameters Nitrate 10, phosphate 0.25, ph 8.2, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, calcium 520, alk 9. Temp was 85 yesterday and it dropped to 77 today. Everything was fine. Then all of a sudden it all was showing signs of dying. Dipped everything and then moved to my old tank (temp 77, pretty much the same parameter except calcium is 370) Now it seems everything has stopped its progression towards death. Any thoughts.

85 is way too hot. They most likely were in shock. They may still not make it. I hope they do. You want calcium 380-500, not higher or lower, temp 76-78F, alk 6.8-9ish

Sorry pics aren't great. This guy is turning black where the arrow is pointing.

Thanks. That is what i was afraid of. The temp gauge wasn't reading it correctly. I saw them struugling and got them out as soon as i noticed. Ugh... dang it. Crossing fingers they pull through.
