My 90 gallon has ran great for months and then all of my zoos started pouting. They are not dieing, just not opening up like they should. I also had 2 fuzzy shroom rocks melt. I have LPS's and ricordea and other fuzzy shrooms that look great. This is weard. Its just my zoos pouting and 2 shroom rocks melting and everything else looks great. Actually my rics has never looked better.

Really need to know more
PH?
Temp?
Salinity?
Ammonia?
Nitrite?
Nitrate?
Alkalinity?
Calcium?

I think you'll get more response on the zoas discussion forum so I'm moving your post.. :)

Have you had all these zoos for a long time? Some colonies, especially Caribbean varieties, can be tempermental. If you have lots of zoos or other soft corals you may be having some chemical warfare (allelopathy) occurring, the only cures for which are either the reduction in the amount of soft coral, more frequent water changes, or more aggressive skimming and carbon filtration. Other than that we'd need to know the tank parameters.

I have a AquaC Remora skimmer with a maxi-jet 1200 and it pulls real good. The tank has 4-65 watt PC's.
Salinity 1.025
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
nitrate 0
PH 8.2
Temp. 76-78

I do not have a Cal. or Alk. test so I can not do them. I am getting them thursday, the LFS is ordering them for me. I use to work there and still get 25% off on everything. This tank was perfect and this happened in just a couple days.

What salt are you using?
And let us know what calcium and alkalinity are when you get the test kits. Some salts have low levels of these and it could become a problem if you don’t test from time to time.
If you could post some pics of the effected corals it might help to ID the problem.

What I do not understand is why some corals are mad and some look great. I have a couple zoo rocks that look good, but a few do not. I figured if something was going to die or pout it would be my LPS's not my softies. I got a couple hammers that look great. My ricordea never looked so good. I do not know if this is anything, but it all started after I put a FHI Farm zoo rock in I got from Extreme corals, but it looks great.
