Corals not thriving... advice

If I get ammonia what do I do
That is a good question. I have a 7 stage Rodi with triple di and pre chloramine filter. Threw almost a grand into the setup. Tried regular filters chloramine specific filters etc. I gave up. I was already getting ammonia break through in my product water in a month. My solution was distilled water was much cheaper then replacing the media every month. My tap reads 2ppm+ ammonia. I have also done several test on various distilled brands. I used to use Walmart distilled. The only brand I have tested that is yet to show me a positive ammonia reading is Okarka distilled

Usually 10% every 2 weeks. Depending on nutrients. Sometimes they get to low
That should not be that large of volume to see drastic effects on corals if chloramines are present. Usually the corals will be upset for a day while the filter breaks down the ammonia

You would need to change your carbon blocks on the Rodi, there are some they are designed to handle clormaines.

Edit:

These ones:

Yea used those...
