I am looking for the best practice/method for transferring coral frags from a tank that has quite a bit of algae on the live rock and some on corals to a new tank (4months) which currently only has snails and crabs in it.

Also, QT or not?

I'd use a soft tooth brush to clean any off and depending on species and amount left would consider a hydrogen peroxide dip or spot application.

Never hurts to quarantine, with regular cleanings applied

Good luck.

Thanks, I have heard about peroxide dipping. What is the dilution?
