So a long story short I did something stupid to my tank was my fault not checking a test kit that was expired and was dosing sodium nitrate so it kept reading zero or 1 and I kept adding it lol, they got up to 80 and a lot of my zoas took a hit, a lot of them lost color and are not fully open there like 75% open, will they ever recover it's been about 3 or 4 weeks parameters have been corrected since then. My sunny d's colony was so nice now there only 75% open ive tried everything for them to open back up and nothing has worked.

So you are saying 3-4 30% w/c with a day or two gap in between and still no difference? Well I’m
No Zoa expert, but you think a turn over of water at that rate should bring NO3 down...

huh? Not sure I understand, my water is fine now as I said, but there was probably a week or so where the nitrates were 80 and I was unaware due to a expired kit that's when thing took that hit. Yes I did massive water changes to bring it down.
