Corals touching questions???

1.With my setup atm my bubble tip is grazing my toadstool as both are really growing. I haven’t noticed any problems with the toadstool the polyps still expand where it’s being touched. This normal
2.i have a Kenya tree that’s close to touching my monti what will happen there when they do touch

Corals touching is generally a no no unless they are closely related. (Discosoma with another color variation of Discosoma. Or Frogspawn with Hammer Coral) Otherwise it ends up bad when two corals of different types touch known as coral warfare.

Even if u dont see immediate physical damage it might appear later. This onctqct can also increase chemical.warfare corals engage in which with time and with more corals might lead to an unnecessary overall stress

The problem with bubble tips is they can decide to move at any time and they sting anything in their path. And they don’t care how much you paid for your other corals.
