Are my corals dead I don't know what to do anymore.

Salinity 1.025
Calcium is 400
Alk is 9.0
Mag is 1300

My corals were doing great when I first got them intelligence I bought a better light for my tank a kessil a160e tuna blue. I started my light intensity at 75. I didn't even acclimate my corals I noticed my spa coral bleached white from one day to another. So I dropped my intensity to 45 and there still dieting I do t know if I shocked them or if it's my water perimeters. Should I drop the intensity more.

Light schedule
9am 0 color 5 int
12 20 color 25 int
2pm 45 color 35 int
5pm 50 color 40 int
9pm back down to 5 intensity should i re acclimate. Some are doing well others arnt.

It’s hard to tell from those pics but the only ones that look iffy to me are the two cyphastrea Corals..... they look closed up and rough around the edges.

If you didn’t acclimate them to the light you definitely should start lower and then gradually bring them up

Welcome to R2R! I would turn the light down to around 30-35% intensity and leave it there for a couple weeks so your corals can recover. I would also shorten your photo period to 10 hours, so something like 11am to 9pm :) after a couple weeks of low light, slowly start bringing it up by 5% a week and watch your corals closely. Turn it up weekly until you see them start to get upset and then dial it back by 10%, that's your sweet spot :) also if you can get access to a par meter that would be even better.

Thank you I'll give it a try

Yeah that’s probably off. You should be registering at least something for nitrates. Anything under 5 is fine, but 0 isn’t good (and highly unlikely).

Have you been feeding the corals at all?

I target feed them only 2 out of my 8 corals open and show there little tenticals to capture the food the rest stay closed during the night I feed them coral frenzy

My tank is 4 months old and my kessil light I got it at 2 months but I had corals by then and they were fine. After I bought the kessil light about 2 weeks after that they started bleaching and browning

How old is the tank?

More specifically, how many weeks have passed from the time cycle completed to the time you placed the frags in the tank?

I think the rest look ok as well. Probably just some light shock. I have the same/similar cyphastrea and it's doing pretty well at a similar height. Don't panic, I think you will be ok.

some say at that stage it is really hard to keep anything since the tank hasnt really matured enough, just wait it out and dont add anything else until you are able to stabilize the once you already have.

I agree with crabs. Although I would even ramp up slower...

Browning out wouldnt likely be too much intensity but that could certainly cause the bleaching. The browning may be due to excess nutrients; grab some better kits for that or it take it to somebody that has some capable of measuring it more accurately.
