My tank had velvet and I have no fish in the tank, what will I need to do to keep my corals healthy? Do I need to dose anything? Currently don’t dose anything and just feed reef roids and everything has been doing good
But I’ve heard it’s harder to have a tank with just corals in?

I think it’s somewhat easier to keep a tank with only corals.....

I wouldn’t go doing anything different than you’re doing now. If your current husbandry skills are keeping the tank happy now, simply loosing the fish from the equation won’t make a huge deal.

I’m in the process of a fishless cycle because of ich. Only thing I’ve changed is I feed slightly more Reef roids to keep nutrients up and all corals are doing fine 2 months in.

If you are dosing ReefRoids you dont need to dose nitrate or phosphate....I'm not being sarcastic either.

Just remember if you go to long without fish, even just a single small one your tank will cycle when you add fish back.

That’s absolutely not true at all.
the tank will not “recycle” when he adds fish.
the tank is cycled already, you don’t loose that bacteria by a fish not being in the tank.
Will adding a new fish effect the bioload a bit, sure, but it’s not recycling.

Thanks guys, I usually feed reef roids twice a week, I’ll do it a bit more frequently to add some extra nutrients

I’d keep your regular feedings and maybe broadcast feed a little bit after your water change. That’s what I’ve been doing the past two months and everything is going good.
