Ok I have a duncon and a kanya tree and they look like there is something wrong with them. My parameters are good and they act like this some times. Can anyone tell he if they are sick or dieing or is it normal?

What are your parameters and lighting?

Took these yesterday nitrite 0 ppm, nitrate 10-15 ppm, ammonia 0- .25. Salinity is 1.0255. I am using 2 48" t5s one full spectrum and a actinic.

My other corals are doing great. I also have a green mushroom that I don't have a pic for right this moment.

My duncans look like that at night. But during the day they really open up. They like a bit of flow... what kind of flow do you have in your tank? Also where do you have these corals positioned in your tank? (top, middle, bottom?)

I have two maxi - jet 900s in the tank and I circled the duncins in the pic

Its the ammonia. Your tank hasn't finished cycling and needs time to mature

I believe my tank is cycled my color on the test was a little difficult to read I'm going to test it again today to see

Looks like your tank is a 55? If so you don't have enough light to keep much other than mushrooms. You should be running at least 4 t5s.
If you can move the frags up higher in the tank that may help till you can add more light.

Yeah definitely get more light on them if possible. I had the same problem and when I moved them higher they opened up almost immediately

I moved it out of the flow some and it came out now. So maybe there was to much right on it

You could always try adding in an led strip or two I check out some more lighting options it's only going to help things.
