I have Kenya tree for about a month now and it seem doing fine, I just added another softie coral last Thursday and it was doing fine till the following Monday, coral started to turn white.
I just did a water change last night. Thx.

Are you sure that's a kenya tree? Looks like an alveopora to me.

I'm not sure, new to the reef and coral. Got this from the LFS and said it is a easy care.

That is 100% an alveopora which is LPS and not a soft coral. they arent too hard to care for if it was aquacultured

I use filtered water , it is a nuvo peninsula 20g so I used filter sock with chemi pure and I will change around with ceramic filter ring or bio balls .
Sal 1.025 ph. 8.2 nitrite between 5-10 nitrate around 10 . Its pretty hight so I did a 10% water change last night. The lighting is basic led for fish I think.

This tank has established over 2 years now the Lta is around 6 months

What is tds. I used ispring osmosis water system. The light is aqueon led with back ground hood, I still struggling with the lighting .
Ai prime hd, or current Orbit USA. With AI I'll needed a screen mash , with Orbit I can just remove the led and placed on top of acrylic so less evaporate

Yeah that coral is not one I would consider easy to care for. I would argue that if you can care for that and keep it alive as your very first coral then well you have "the gift".

not familiar with the osmosis system. TDS stands for total dissolved solids and has to do with the total amount of metals etc in water that will affect water quality. 0 TDS is what we aim for in reef aquariums

current usa orbit is a pretty low output light so I wouldnt go with it. AI prime, orphek or3 bars (2 of them preferably), maxspect jump led are lower cost options from proven brands
