Hi, My memory of chemistry is dubious but I kind of remember that when you dissolve something in a liquid the volume of the liquid doesn't change. The mixing directions for parts 3a & 3b say to mix with 960ml of water. This would give 960ml of solution not 1L. Am I wrong about this? Should I mix with 1L instead to get 1L of solution? Either is just as easy.
For measuring I'm assuming that my RODI water has a density of 1 so I'm weighing 960 grams of water. Is this right?
Thanks,

I would have to assume the 960ml of RO/DI will yeald the proper consentration of the solution, thats the important part.

But after mixing your stuff if measured by volume I bet it will come out to a full 1L

Your chemistry theory is correct, but theres two different elements of math here.
One on overall volume of something.
The other on the consentration of the stuff being measured by volume.

Thanks for confirming my chemisty but I wrote in the Triton forum with the hope of an answer from Triton.

Sounds good. Hope you post the response here as well if you get one.
