Coris wrasse dying

I had this coris wrasse since December it went through qt for 60 days all my fish go through qt for 40 days minimum and the tank went fowl for 82 days have not added new fish in 45 days but did notice millanarus wrasse picking on him today so need help top fin is partially

That's tough to say what could be going on here. Given the long history of no problems would indicate that the issue isn't one of the major infectious diseases. With the report of the Melanurus wrasse picking on it, the problem could be simply aggression, or it could be that the yellow coris has some other issue that in turn allowed the Melanurus to begin attacking it because it was weak.

What is the status of the yellow coris now? Is it still in the same tank? If so, can you post a short video?

Looking at the tail, appears tio be weakened/stressed by aggression. From seeing how you are holding it without resistance from the fish, prognosis does not seem well.
Seems like Jay may be suggesting separation/isolation for which I agree to give it any kind of chance

I have it in the refugium laying there not moving
i have a fairy wrasse in there which is fine and have couple other fairy wrasse varieties in qt what i read is there are a different family so hopefully they will be fine also i did notice the coris wrasse would not borrow in sand at night it was swimming all night

Sorry - I'm stumped. If the other wrasse had been the primary aggressor here, the fairy wrasse would have been the first target.

So know I just looked at my tank and noticed the tang has something on his eye

Could be. You could give the yellow coris a FW dip (might kill it though). If you see flukes at the bottom of the container, that would help confirm the diagnosis.

The mucus on the tang could be flukes, but it could also just be excess mucus from an injury.

I fw dipped the wrasse really didn’t see anything used a clear container then placed on black paper and didnt see anything come off

Sorry for your wrasse struggles but for what its worth I had a royal gramma which is similar size and his dorsal fin and tail fin got chewed off pretty good by someone in the tank not sure who and he was able to survive and the fins grew back so hopefully your yellow coris can also with care.

The tang is all cleared up no more stuff on the eyes or fish but fish is scratching on the sand is that normal after flukes

Im not sure what caused it, but I believe that is a banana wrasse, not a yellow coris. If that is the case, these fish need pretty large tanks.

It is a200 gallon tank 6 foot tank
