I fed my corals today and turned out the white light about 15 mins after. the torch starting doing this after about 10 mins of the white lights being off. I just thought it was kind of cool any idea why they do this or has this happened to anyone else?

WOW, that is pretty interesting!
Have only had my torch for a couple weeks and haven't never seen it do that

This post will give your thread a lil' bump, hopefully someone will be able to chime in.

whoa, Ive never seen that before...
May be unrelated but I had a small colony of rastas that were "normal" then one day I noticed that they all had curly skirts. Out of nowhere lol

It almost looks like it was retracting (like they do for "night night time") and some tissue didnt retract.

I've seen long tentacle torches and tube anemonies do that but it was because the current was too strong

it has had the same flow since put in about 2 month ago. but I did adjust the one power head so maybe that did it

This is my noob experience. The torch I have was the first coral I bought. It almost died, but had made almost a full recovery. I made two mistakes. Too much current made my polyps start twisting just like yours. Also in start of my tank I was running my lights in a more blue look, not knowing any better to notice the polyps started getting thin a stringy. Between the blue light spectrum and the high flow the polyps started twisting themselves off and floating around the tank stinging other coral it made contact with. I say 70% of the polyps twisted themselves off. I removed a powerhead and I now run my lights mainly in a white spectrum my torch had puffed back up and is keeping is new polyps. Just my personal noob experience
