Hey reefers,
I posted this in the sps thread by accident. But I been asking what is the best place to put my new 3G mummy eye chalice. I got a sick deal and got 2 eyes for 30$ so I want to make it flourish in my tank ! I have it in the shade right now but in worried it's not getting enough light but I also don't want it to get to much light and I don't want it to die on me. Any knowledge on this topic? Thanks!

My chalice is at the bottom for 2 months now and it's growing steadily....

Pop corals kid?

Regardless, what type of lighting are you using? keep it off to the side for now. Chalices are those type of corals that all different morphs like different types of lighting.

lol yea bro! I bought that 3G mummy eye frag it's beautiful I got it for a stealllllll. I have it in the shade a little now. I'm guna bring it out slowly I guess. Do you know if it likes high or low light and what about the flow? Even tho it's a really nice frag It was recently fragged so I'm trying to get it to heal first.

Lol i figured youd wind up buying it. Depends. Just dont blast it with flow to the point were you can see the skeleton poking through. Leave it in the corner for a week or two then you can move it to a moderately lit area. Also feed it when the tenticals are out, will deffinitly give you some good results
