hi all, just bought my first cornbred coral online. Just wondering if anyone has any? Or if they are really worth the cost?

Coral are not an investment, so if your happy with your purchase then it is totally worth it. It comes down to disposable income.
I for one will not buy coral there. Too much pic saturation represented in photos in my opinion. To each their own.
I give frags to all my friends who want higher end corals but can't afford to buy them no need for them to be jealous of my tank also if I ever have a crash it's nice to have back ups^^^This OMG, some people literally think their tanks are full of 100 dollar bills, lol.

Can I be your friend?

That's why I rarely buy online. If I want something that's expensive I wait for a show or someone local to sell some because I can give a hoot who's name is on the frontI think price is like beauty. It's all in the eye of the beholder. If a frag costs $1000 and you like it (for that price hopefully love it) and have the money laying around and won't jump off a building if it dies, then by all means. If you are going to be sick when it doesn't glow (flouresce) in your tank like it does in vendors pictures then you may want to pass. That being said there are certainly specific cultivars that really shine above others. Is the price difference between 2 similar frags worth it? That is up to the buyer.
