I used to split a tank with cornbred at all local swaps and can say his pics even though badly photoshopped people are always satisfied with the corals and everyone that complained on forums or facebook would not say a peep when they saw his stuff in person. I rarely talk to the guy anymore. The oranges are a little more orange and the reds are a little more red in pics but what you get it's somewhat close to pics. He has a great cult following of rich guys I guess and you can't knock a guy for selling $10-$20 corals for $100, he built a name and in this hobby some people pay for a name. I've had people buy zoas from me for $10-20 more because it was from me like if my zoas would magically make their tanks better lol. So please lets keep the bashing to a minimum!
He tried to eat Josh's porks sandwich...Why don't you talk to him anymore?

Haha, rare we see a vendor admit they overcharge for a coral. I applaud you JPS.He has a great cult following of rich guys I guess and you can't knock a guy for selling $10-$20 corals for $100, he built a name and in this hobby some people pay for a name. He is a vendor?!? And I thought he was only selling coral to buy pork sandwich...I might not buy from him again.Haha, rare we see a vendor admit they overcharge for a coral. I applaud you JPS.![]()
He's a caveman and doesn't like friends lol.Why don't you talk to him anymore?
You can't compare your professional pics to his lol. I also think he just doesn't care about what people think. He's been doing this for a while and why change what works. BTW I wish I could take pictures like you choppy! It's got to be about being honest, I can safely say that is not a honest representation of that zoanthid just by looking at the picture.
I use editing software on all my pictures, but I use it honestly and try to keep what I do correct to what I see.
At the end of the day if you buy in to it and are disappointed by what you receive, then a expensive lesson shall be learnt

I take pride in my stuff. I grow everything with love and I get attached lol. If a coral looks too good I raise the price so I can keep it hahahaha. Also many times I tell people just to buy from someone else if they're too cheap. I still see it as a hobby even though I have more than most LFS in my area lol.Haha, rare we see a vendor admit they overcharge for a coral. I applaud you JPS.![]()
I'm not a vendor. Every cent I make I use it to buy more corals lol.He is a vendor?!? And I thought he was only selling coral to buy pork sandwich...I might not buy from him again.

Shut it and teach me how to take pics lolLOL Josh, I'm not bashing, I have no need to
Just expressing my opinion![]()
I prefer to view corals in a whiter light. I don't own any leds and my t5 combo is pretty white. When I shop for corals I always ask for more white light. A brown or rly light coral will show at least some color under super blue light, especially led. To me this would be a misrepresentation of the health of the coral. A perfectly healthy frag being sold for any amount of money should exhibit the coloration you're looking for under a "daylight" color temperature. Anything less is not worth spending money on.Why do you want to see a "daylight" coral? I find it odd that so many people complain about pics taken under actinic only to turn around and drop the coral in your actinic heavy lit tank. I haven't been to very many shows or frag swaps where all the booths are lit with "daylight" bulbs and surely don't see all that many people asking the vendors to change the lighting either. I am in Orlando and we have a decent size reef community and I rarely go to someones house and the person is eager to blast the white lights to show off the coral. I don't doubt cornbread photoshops his coral, but this issue people have with actinic lit pics is overplayed.
That's was the picture of the colony from where the polyp Came from.![]()
