Corner overflow cover

So i have had several fish jump into the corneroverflow (and eventually jump back into the display). I need to cover this thing.

However, one caveat, i am using a screentop for my tank. My worry is that with a simple cover, the fish may get stuck on top of the cover and die that way.

Anyone have ideas on how to get a cover that also stops the fish from landing on top of the cover?

I use plastic canvas and zip ties. You should be able to create a 'wall' from the top of the overflow up to the bottom of your screen cover.

If the fish jump at it, they will bounce back into the tank

I used gutter guard ziptied to the teeth of the weir,
Extended up so that it just touched the screen top.
