The eyes make it appear to be a dead shrimp but agree, the photo is hard to make it out. Place shrimp on a paper towel

When I get back home ill check of hes there, im very sad : ( I've had nems but not shrimp get into powerheads, the eyes make me think its sadly a dead shrimp, atleast its not a cleaner I guess

Here's a skunk cleaner molt from this morning -- molt on outside of the ball/cave dealie,,, shrimp hanging upside-down inside the cave.
(Day 4 of QT -- nice!)

Just 'cause I think the molt looks cool:

Did your shrimp ever re-appear?
I was hoping you had a molt but the part on your middle finger in your pic looked pretty meaty/fleshy so that's a little scary.

Looks like a molt to me but Im also curious if you found your shrimp. I agree with @EricR that the part on the righthand side of the picture looks more meaty than a molt would be.

Never did : ( bought a replacement and ordered a nem guard for my wavemaker... only a 5 dollar shrimp but still a little sad

To the OP: Sorry for your loss. It doesn't matter how much they cost, it's still sad to lose them, especially to a powerhead. I think all powerheads should come with guards. It's not just nems that are in danger of being mutilated by them.
