At some point I read one of Randy's articles on above subject that had a box that would show you how to get alk/Ca in balance.
The link on this forum for correcting Alk/Ca problems does not seem to work. I think that is where I saw it but would appreciate anyone that can point me to the article with the squares in the box.

What is the problem? In general, if either calcium or alkalinity is low, dose that parameter until your levels test okay. If either calcium or alkalinity is high, stop dosing that parameter until your levels test okay. You'll want to make sure magnesium is sufficiently high also, but there's not much to it other than that.

Yes I get that chip. Since setting up my Trident and getting accurate readings I found calcium way too high for my liking, 487. Stopped dosing Ca and kalk but it is not coming down. Alk is now at 8.42, shooting for 8.5. Mag is 1327. I guess I am just impatient.
