Got my latest results back and had a quick question about the instructions for the correction dosing. My magnesium measured at 1290, I have 140 gallon water volume. Are these instructions for 265 ml each day for 4 days? or 265 total over the 4 days? 265 ml each day seems like a lot just to come up 80 points. That's a whole bottle and then some, seems crazy to me.

Very important for your aquarium
Mg: We have detected a lack of magnesium.
A magnesium dosage can have the following benefits for your aquarium:
- Essential for calcification
- Important for the development of healthy coral skeleton of SPS and LPS corals
To restore the natural value, please refer to our recommended dosage.

Mg: We recommend the corrective dosage be carried out over 5 days. For the first 4 days the dosage should be 265ml. On the last day please use 0.20000000000005ml.

K: We have detected a lack of potassium.
A potassium dose may have the following advantages for your aquarium:
- Can promote the coloring of SPS
- Can have a positive effect on the bacterial flora
To restore the natural value, they refer to our recommended dosage.

K: We recommend the corrective dosage be carried out over 7 days. For the first 6 days the dosage should be 106ml. On the last day please use 64ml.

Magnesium makes up a large portion of seawater so it can take a lot of liquid buffer to raise it, please remember though you do have the option of using the DIY MgCl2 salts as well.

Thanks Tim, I have some Magnesium here I was going to use up before I bought anything. But just to clarify on the instructions (all of them really) the dose is a daily dose? I.E. for the magnesium it would be 265 ml a day. or for the potassium 106ml a day.

Correct

The figure is your maximum safe daily dose based on your volume calculation.
