Does anyone see an issue using the Beckett brand corrugated hose?

Got it from Home Depot, it’s used for ponds, says safe for plants and fish.

I have to run long times to my sump, I think this stuff will be more pliable then vinyl.

I know the ribs might block some flor, but I have too much as it is.

Thanks

I wouldn’t use that stuff. Just use some reinforced vinyl hose. You can get it in the plumbing section of HD or Lowes.

I have 20 feet of it. I understand it may not be as good, but would you say it’s harmful?

Don't go vinyl, vinyl/braided yes, and one you mentioned. I used vinyl with no braiding, it kinked and I lost all corals. Kinked hose went to chiller. Bummer

If you speaking of the blue hose, sometimes referenced as vacuum hose it will be fine as Derek mentions. I still have 2 sitting in my old wet dry I ran for years. Just be sure to get the correct connections to avoid leaks.

And don’t use for pressure lines
