Cortez Stingray

My wife and I have researched what we can about these little guys and seems they are not very long lived in captivity. We've yet to talk with anyone else that has one. So, shout back if you have a Cortez or have had one in the past, I'd love to share notes. Ours is about 30 months old now and seems to be doing great. 9 inch disk and about 13 inches long snout to tail. Talk soon, Karl.

Out of curiosity, what size tank is he in?

It's a 220 with a 75 sump in the basement. Also connected to the system is a 29 tha we have some sps and other small critters in.

Has he been in your system 30 months? Or how long have you had him?

We have had him 24 months or so.
