When I got my pair I was definitely nervous about it and it was the most I had spent on a [pair of] fish ever. But after adapting to the brighter reef environment of my reef, they became the most active and healthy fish I have ever had. I lost them to a crash a few years ago but will be getting another pair when I find the right fish.

I would like to get one eventually. But like most people I have a hard time spending that much on a fish. I guess the bottom line is I just don't want it bad enough. Cause I've spent more on other livestock that I just had to have.

Plus maybe the fact that I haven't seen in live in person. Maybe if it was right there for the taking, I'd pull the trigger...........who am I kidding, I know I would.

I have a Peppermint or Swissguard Basslet. Also a Caribbean basslet, but from not quite as deep waters as the Candy. He is an awesome fish -- great temperament, beautiful, active. Based on my experience with this fish, I do plan on getting a Candy once the time is right.

You would; those stripes are phosphorescent under actinics.

To be honest, I was going to resell it,but I knew I would end up keeping it.
I heard their care can be difficult. Like not alot of people who actually buy one are successful. I saw a public aquarium had one and the keep in a certain condition and are successful with it. Idk...
Ask I know if I would try, which wouldn't happen, I would just be scared it would for on me after the guarantee expires. Lol
