Cotton Candy Torch...deflated?

Virtually every torch I’ve moved once happy, perished in a day or two.

I have a group of 7 IMG_0070.jpeg left which have never moved in 3 years.

Well the thing is i have an Elegance, 2 different mushrooms, xenia, green star polyp and a zoa colony that all look fantastic...just the cotton candy looks horrible out of all of them
So all the other corals are soft. Is the torch the only LPS you have? Alk and calcite very important once you start with stony coral

Personally I think it was on it’s way out when you purchased it. It had zero flesh band. A healthy torch would have about a 1-2 inch flesh band down the skeleton and in your picture it had zero. I doubt it lost it in 2 weeks. I don’t think it was your fault, just make sure you buy a healthy torch with a good flesh band next time.

i have a frammer which is nearly impossible to kill.
It has went though not one, but SEVERAL salnity drops.
It went though months of being kept in a holding tank with Tap water mix, instead of RO/DI.

You would litterally need to try hard to kill this frammer.

Im pretty sure you know what im talking about, becasue i believe there is only 1 frammer in our hobby that fits this description, and no one likes it, because its not a holy grail, or banana, yet it grows almost as fast as a

xenia.

Took a sample to my lfs and results are in...i messed up bad..

OMG... 40% water change every 3-4 days, and repeat it 3 times.

Your NO3 number is stuff nightmares are made from.
