I had a diamond goby go missing and around the same time I had a cyano out break that I have not experienced before. Could he be the cause? How long would it take a CuC to take care of a missing fish? He was about 5" long and doing well for a year. Not sure what happened.

Yes it could be the cause. A dead fish is just like feeding too much. A lot of fish food does contain fish. Some people even feed grocery store bought fish.

Not sure how long you cuc would take to clean it up because I don't know what you have. Bristle worms are usually the 1st to find something dying or dead and start working on it. I recommend monitoring ammonia and nitrites. If you see something register, then the cuc isn't eating it fast enough.

IF YOU HAD TO TAKE A REEFING EXAM, WOULD YOU PASS?
