Okay so I wasn't a fan of my emerald crab although he was a good lawnmower for hair algae when I had it, but he's been MIA for a few days. During any feeding time the little dude would come out from behind my live rock and start grabbing food. However I added a brittle starfish to the tank who also lives in the LR near the emerald's hide out. Since I haven't seen the little guy is there a chance the star ate him?

That was my guess as well except it's been at least 4 days since I've seen him

They are not hunters and will only do so if there is a dead carcass of crab. Not unusual to NOT see mine for 2-4 weeks at a time
