Could i please have some help with Cupramine dosing?

I setup a 31L QT tank for my 2 clowns who i suspect one of them has ick. white spots but all of a sudden they are gone?

Where the current water level is i worked it out to 28L of water, i'd like to dose cupramine at half strength, heard a lot of people have had success with this so what will this work out to be in dosage? id also like to slowly add it over maybe a week.

Bottle says 20 drops per 40L

Go 15 drops to compensate for actual volume. Be sure to use test kit and monitor copper level

Thanks i calculated 14 drops through out the treatment so il do 15 drops. do i add it slowly ?

I would ditch cupramine and get copper power, superior in every way.

cross multiply and divide by the coefficient.
(20)(28) = (40)(n)

560 = 40n divide both sides of the equations by 40 ... the coefficient.

i'd like to dose cupramine at half strength,

Dosing at half strength is what we call "sub-therapeutic" and could cause you problems as the copper dosage may not be potent enough to completely take care of the parasites.

Some fish collectors, shippers, and retailers will do sub-therapeutic levels to "hold off" the parasites, keep the fish "looking" sellable. But what happens frequently is the fish are then sold and within a few days to a couple of weeks the parasites come roaring back, often without the tell tale external symptoms, doing tremendous damage to the fish's gills unseen to us. The fish's mucous coating of the gills will somewhat shield the parasites from the sub-therapeutic copper. And then we see lots of fish lost.

Very common to use Cupramine at "half strength" for Freshwater fish.
