can #reefsqaud get in on this action, as Idk what corals work in a 20 gallon and are generally hardy?

If you’ve never kept corals before then soft corals like mushrooms, GSP, zoas, leathers are usually a good bet. Nice way to introduce yourself to the husbandry requirements of a reef. Once you’re comfortable with soft corals, you can progress towards more demanding ones.

The only possible problem that you might have in my opinion is the pistol and the conch. They both inhabit the sand bed and some species of pistol shrimp are quite aggressive. If you stick with something like a candy stripe, I don’t think this will be a problem. Don’t expect a whole lot of action out of this list though, as these are 4 reclusive creatures that tend to mind their own business.
