Could this be a Brittle Star?

This started to show up a few days ago, only one arm and about one inch. exposed.
Now there are 6 or 7 arms that I can see, and they are out about 2 to 3 inches long
Any idea what they are, if it isn't a starfish?

Im assuming it does not move or retract.

It seams to be moving with the current. I don't think it is moving with purpose, although it has come out of that garden more today than yesterday or 2 days ago when I first noticed it

it kinda looks like a gorg right now. could be a softie. hard to say yet
 
still tough. youll have to eyeball what looks like Polyps at the ends of the stalks., it could be an algae too.
 
That would definitely explain how it survived the coral dip, I just picked this piece up a week ago, thanks so much from the both of you, on your responses.
