So I have had this fish now for two weeks. He has had these same seven spots on him the whole time. No more no less. Could it be ich or something else or could it just be how he is? I haven't treated for anything yet. He seems healthy, active and eating good. I just assumed that by now he would be better or worse but he hasn't. Any help would be appreciated

Ich would have fallen off and come back in different spots - these spots are too small anyway.
Possible lympho, which there isn’t anything you can do about, but is almost never dangerous and often goes away on its own.

That's what I thought also. I've dealt with ich years ago and assumed there would be some change after two weeks but it's been the same the whole time. Thank you for you quick response I appreciate it...

Looking at diameter of for, may be fluke
Dots blend in well with fish in pics
Any scratching or heavy breathing?
If not, could be lymphocystis which is viral

No scratching or heavy breathing he seems really healthy over all. I also observed him in the fish store for 4 days before i brought him home. So it's actually been over two weeks.

Lympho may be the case and with GOOD water quality and diet will dislodge by itself

There are things called xenomas. They are caused by microsporidians. Little is known about them in aquarium fish, other that they cause persistent white spots on fish. It isn't treatable, but I can't even tell you what the mortality rate is from species to species with these.

I was looking into the lympho but from what I can gather they get cotton like and get bigger. These are not like that at all. They have been the same the whole time. The ones on his tail and fin seem to be under the skin and don't protrude. I cant really tell with the ones on his body tho. I may be wrong about that tho

That's what I thought - they looked like they were under the skin, and xenomas are just that....
