So I am planning on in the future getting a large fowlr tank. I had always planned on keeping fish like puffers and large angels with a shark or stingray. However I read that these fish will attack a shark or stingray. Now logically I know of nothing that will attack a shark lol. But now I don’t know. Does anyone have any insight. I can drop the stingray idea, shark I would like would be either epaulette or bamboo or coral cat. So would these fish be compatible with these sharks?

Yes but what’s the gamble here? What are the odds that I can find a angel or puffer that won’t do this?
Also what kinds of fish would I be able to put with them then?

Yup, just me personally but I feel that sharks and rays are best kept by themselves. The fish that can hold their own against them are likely to harm them and the ones who can't generally become food.

Neither are aggressive. Bamboo and other epaullette sharks are very peaceful and usually crustacean focused in their diet. As long as they aren't with sedentary fish, the other fish will be left alone. Anthias, fairy and flasher wrasses, any open water swimmers, will be left alone. If with other peaceful fish, will be fine.
Rays may include more fish in their diet, but hunt mostly on the sand. So again, as long as the tankmates aren't sedentary, they will be left alone.
