Could velvet live in biorocks?

hi reefers. My 55 was wiped out from velvet two months ago which I am running fallow. Could I use biorocks from the 55 for a quarantine tank? Could a disease like velvet live in your biorocks or live rock?

Correct. There's one strain of ich that's known to stay in its' tomont stage up to 72 days. Add 4 days for the freeswimmers and you've got 76 days. That's the safest way to go fallow imo
