Couple new zoanthids refuse to open up

So I just picked up about 13 new zoas last week and all of them are open and happy except for two. I really don’t know why but I have one suspicion and it’s hair algae. I’ve been noticing little spots of hair algae appear around my tank and I have reduced feeding and manually taken out as much as I can. I saw a bit of hair algae on one of the zoas that wouldn’t open up so I did a peroxide dip and I don’t know if that even did anything. Tank is a Biocube 32 softie/LPS. Also the tank is about 2 1/2 months old and I’m getting a ton of coralline growth so I assume I’m on the right track.

oh and I forgot to mention I don’t see any pests on the zoas.

This happens in my tank with different types of new zoas from time to time when others are thriving and growing fast. I have never figured out what is bothering them when there are no pests found. I move the zoas that are not opening to a new spot with different flow and lighting to see how they react. In many cases they start to open up and thrive again. Lately since I have a frag tank now I just relocate them to the frag tank and let them grow out now until they can be cut into more frags and introduced into the display again. I am sure some other zoa keepers will chime in.
