I'd like to, if I may, get IDs and your thoughts on these pieces. Since I'm a newb to all of this stuff I want to make sure I can ID them correctly so I can learn about them and their care and for those of you that are the experts... are these really "worth" adding to my tank plus.... what ARE they really worth? lol

#3 & #4

#1 is a Acanthastrea lordhowensis. Higher end on the pay scale so I would say easily over $150 for that colony.

#2 is a Acanthastrea echinata. Usually on the lower end of cost, say approx $100 for that colony pictured. They are also what I call "I kill everything corals" Everything they touch they kill so you have to be careful with them.

#3 is a Favia of some sorts and I'd say that smaller colony would be between $50 to $100.

#4 is a Chalice, they can range wildly depending on coloration's. Most colony's start at about $125 and can skyrocket from there.

Very nice as well!

Had planned on getting them late this past week but, looked at the tank and saw some of my zoos closed, a day later still closed so I tested and my phosphates are up a bit instead of sitting at zero so working on that first. Can't see bringing them home to a tank with phosphates and taking a chance on harming them.

By the way, decided that #2 is out. Not really set up for a piece like that, trying to give it enough room might be an issue so it was voted off my list. Thanks for the heads up!
