Been playing with the idea of turning my aquarium into a pipefish tank. I know they can be picky eaters. So first question is how you have been able to get them to eat frozen?, tips please. secondly what temp do you keep your tank at?. my tank can reach higher then recommended temp for them wondering if anyone has had much luck keeping them at higher temps. I don't think i'm willing to run a chiller so this could be a deal breaker for me. Thanks!

I had a yellow multibanded pipe fish for over a year and a half. Lost it when I put 3 emerald crabs in the tank.
My tank was about 2 years old at the time and had a pretty good pod population, but I would be pods for it every 4-5 weeks at a local store.
I first started with cyclop-ese which it liked, a lot. After a week , I tried the Hykari Mysis. The mysis in the cubes were suppose to be the smallest available.
It seemed to like mysis right away. It would also go after frozen brine.
I guess I got lucky. It was a pretty easy fish to take care of.
It was always a aggressive eater and always up front begging for food.
I kept this tank at 78.
