Has anyone else seeing a court jester goby eat bryopsis algae? I read that no animal will eat them but my court jester did. Of course it did not make a difference during my bryopsis outbreak and I had to use fluconazole ( which worked like a charm) but I saw the goby eating it. Also, even though it is a Biota captive bred specimen I have never seen it eat any food I put in (e.g. Larry’s reef frenzy or Hikari Marine), except maybe one or two tiny pieces of calanus.

I have watched my lawnmower blenny eat bryopsis.

They do eat hair algae in the wild.
