Typically it's too far gone. Sorry to tell you this, but let's now dig into why this is the case. How are your water parameters? Any visible signs of illnesses or parasites? How is the flow in your tank, surface agitation? Are any bullies in the tank?

Please provide video or at least pics of fish under white lighting for assessment. It can be a number of things including low oxygen, disease, injury and other factors.
