Coverage With Tropic Eden Reef Flakes?

Any of you using Tropic Eden substrate? I'm trying to determine how many bags to order and want to know what sort of coverage other folks have had. Please let me know how many bags (30lbs, I believe) you used and what sort of substrate depth/square footage you've got.

That was for Tropic Eden? If so, which type?

It was Tropic Eden Reef flakes I bought The calculator gives you a choice for density, I used the lower density value of 70 pounds per cubic foot. If someone could tell you exactly what your desired flavor weighs per cubic foot there is a choice to enter a custom field.

I used two 30lb bags of TE Mesoflakes into a 4'x2' footprint 120g and my sand bed averages 1.5-2" deep.

Assuming 1.75" as an across-the-board average depth, that converts to 51 lbs/cf3, which is a little less than what the calculator has as an option. So looks like I'll be coming out deeper than expected, given how many bags of stuff I ordered to hit the 240 lbs that the calculator suggested I should have (4 of the Reefflakes Live (20# bags), 4 of the Reefflakes (30# bags), and 2 of the Reefflakes Grand Select (30# bags)) for a 7' x 28" 250 g setup to have 2.5 or 3" deep bed.

I used a 30 lbs bag of Dry Tropic Eden Reef Flakes and a 16 lbs bag of Live CaribSea Natural Reef on a 40br which is 36" x 18" footprint. The 30 lbs bag was just under 1" so I added the Live sand when it was time to get the tank wet.

Here's a 36 x 18 with 30lbs of dry

and then here it is with the 30lbs of dry and 16lbs of the live. Total of 46 lbs of sand.
