Hey everyone, I host the Marine Biology Club at my high school and our district is having all of the classrooms in the district "disinfected". I have gone through and removed what fish/tanks I can from my room(s) but there are a few tanks I had to leave behind that are still running with corals and fish.
I found that they were doing my room this evening so I went in and covered the tanks that are running with plastic sheeting and will be going back to uncover them tomorrow.
One of my assistant principals was able to get the product that they are using to me.
Do you think I'll have any issues with this?
Bioesque Botanical Disinfectant
Bioesque Botanical Disinfectant - Label
Bioesque Botanical Disinfectant - Safety Data Sheet
I already have carbon running in these systems and plan on adding more when I go back tomorrow to remove the plastic.
Does anyone have any other suggestions? A water change is not entirely practical at this point as I am only allowed on campus once per week to check on the systems.
