Cowries reef safe?

I just ordered two for my invert tank. I thought about a tiger but they do knock things over. 13 dollars for the pair. Got some Tectus, feather dusters, urchins, a pom pom crab too. I was hoping to get some purple tunicates and fromia but I'm pleased to be able to get what I did with all of the restrictions.

I have a few Money Cowries and they don't eat my sponges or anything else (soft corals and LPS only). They're pretty interesting creatures and seem pretty long lived. I've had mine for about 10 years.

My cowrie from ipsf hasn't touched the RFA but man it's a cleaning machine! I need to get more of them!

They are reef cautious. They are excellent herbivores eating varies algaes BUT > > > > > > They can grow large and when hungry can or may consume sponges, tunicates, soft corals, and other inverts depending on type of Cowrie.

I have tiger, money, chestnut cowries spread throughout my tanks no issues whatsoever with anemones, soft corals or gorgonians. same With abalones

I like it when I get abalone hitch hikers. However, my fish ate everything that showed itself. That's why I have a dinky little tank for inverts. I really enjoy the little critters.
