does anyone have any info on keeping a Cowry or cowrie in a saltwater tank. I read online they eat algae and they're sand sifters but that's about all I could find. Idk if I'm not googling it right or something but I can't find anything useful. The one I'd like to get is light brown and has white and brown spots on it. They have that kind of ridged file type center and a snail type body.

I have a 50 gallon tank for now. Lots of live rock so I think it would be ok. There is a little algae buildup starting on the sides for him to start eating. I would appreciate any kind of info

If i remember correctly, I saw @Pieces of the Ocean selling them awhile back. They might know more about them

I've had the tiger ones. need to supplement their feedings with something meaty. mine ran out of food in the tank and I had to feed them.

Ok cool I'll check that out. How did you feed them? Someone told me before to inject brine shrimp in the sand? That was for a star fish which was also sand sifting but same concept?
