Will feeding fishes with cp+focus work for treating ich n velvet? Will b nice if it does.

It does not work effectively. You need to treat the water for external parasites.

CP and copper work killing the parasites of Ich, Velvet, etc. during their "free swimming stage" of life. So the CP or copper needs to be in the water column to do their work.

The mode of action for chloroquine phosphate is it binds to heme, stopping the parasite converting heme to it’s required form. Given they feed on blood this reaction is deadly.

Where this breaks down is a safe dosage For an external parasite that you can get a fish to consume, and without side effects. As stated before fish do not really eat it, second at these doses the leading side effects are stomach related, a fish who stops eating is a fish who wont survive parasites.

Far harsher on fish there was a number of studies done on feeding quinine at the doses a fish would eat, had no effect on external parasites, the parasite they studied was a monogean but same mode of action, as again is a heme feeder.
