If you have ich... instead of removing all the fish and treating in QT, could you remove all the inverts and treat the fish in the DT?
Does CP contaminate LR / sand like copper does? How easy is it to remove from the system?
Obvs you'd lose a fair amount of bacteria, all the little critters like microbrittles / bristleworms / pods etc, but would that trade off be worth it? Inverts are invariably much easier to remove than fish... corals attached to rock would be tricky of course, but this is just theoretical, so let's assume corals are all attached to frag plugs...
Also you'd clearly have to run the invert QT for 76 days fallow...
