Just wondering if anyone has ever used the CPR Aquatic tumbler mini? How long did you use it or have been using it?
I need another reactor and thinking about buying this one or making it myself.

I have one, used it for a while to save some space in my sump, may go back to it; currently using a HOB Reef Octopus reactor in my sump. My only complaint is those dang pumps suck, they make so much noise and don't typically last long; i even upgraded the pump size. I think it was stock with a 400ish GPH, bought an 800ish GPH. Another issue is that top screen, it will quickly clog up as the holes are very fine. You'll want to drill out some of the holes in the reactor itself, they're too small, will clog and reduce the tumble of the pellets, but this is an easy mod. The suction cups are a pain as well, especially if you set it down in a deep sump chamber; when i had to take the reactor out they always fell off and it was a mess trying to find them, always made me nervous one would get stuck in my skimmer pump.

Overall, if you can mod it and make it work, considering the price then go for it, but you'll have to clean it a lot. If you want a plug and play and leave it, its probably not ideal.

Thanks for the detail review. I think I'm going to make my own version of it and implement some of your advise.
