CPR or Eshopps overflow

Which one of these hang on overflows is safer and easier to use?

I never had a single issue with my Lifereef overflow.

I like the look of the Lifereef but they are almost 3 times the price of the Eshopps. I don't mind paying more for made in the US but thats too high of a difference to justify. I can buy a lot of fish and/or coral for $160 bucks.
