CR on-gfo brands you use?

Mixed reef tank 180g softies/lps

Float all media in bags-do not have room for a reactor

have always used kolar gfo and now reef-spec carbon

wondering if these brands good enough or is there something better to use?

I like rawaphos myself.. the price is like black gold but it works great..lol

I like phosgaurd for po4 levels.
Easier to use as their is no gfo mess.

For gfo I would use generic as it works as well as others, imo.

Rox carbon is all I use.

I prefer GFO to aluminum oxide, but if you are using it in a mesh bag and cannot force the water through it, large particles like phosguard aluminum oxide may work better. Rinse it really well.
