I have an Emerald crab. No preoblems with her eating corals. I did once freak out thinking she was picking at my Blastomussa Merletti but I looked closely and she was just poking the polyps to get them to close so she could pick the algae inbetween the polyps.
That said, I have heard (from youtube, here on R2R, and other forums) that it is Male Emeralds that will pick at corals, not females. As mine is female, I can honestly say that she has never picked or harmed a coral in any way. However, since I have no experience with males of the species, I have nothing to go off of other than what other people say.
