Hi All,
So I just noticed a hitchhiker crab that has had a home in my green mushroom coral. Any idea what it may be? Should I get it out or just leave it? Sorry if the photos are not the greatest. It is very small (maybe 1 cm in size).
Thanks in advance to those that reply.
Best,
Alan

Looking at the hair kind of things on it might be a Gorilla crab.

When in doubt, pull it out. Unless its a crab you want, I would remove it. little bit of butter, might be a good bite :D

I agree... Thanks! I will get him/her out.

I would suggest movement to the sump if you have one. I suggest this with any unknown crab. Generally if they have black tips on their claws they are bad but yours doesn't seem to so it might be ok, but the sump is a safe answer.

Another excellent idea. Thanks!
